We are so grateful for all the wonderful donations we receive and many of you have been asking when we are taking donations again.
This is our current situation:
We are coping with a huge backlog of donations we received in the summer and these are already taking up quite a lot of space in our warehouse. They all need to be sorted and we are finding that unfortunately some items are not fit to be passed on to other families. This means we have to dispose of them which is costly for us. Added to this we are managing donations from local football clubs for the families involved in the fire at Keel House, so all of these have to be stored until the families are ready to receive them. For this reason, at the moment we are unable to accept donations apart from cots(without mattresses), stairgates and double buggies. Please bear with us whilst we get through the existing mountain of donations and keep an eye on this page for latest updates. In the meantime, if you are thinking of donating items to us, please ensure that they are clean and in good working order.
You can drop your donation off at our store on the Granby Industrial Estate. Mondays 10-12 Tuesdays 10-2.30 and Thursday 12-3
Family Matters have the right to sell any of the items donated to us to create funds.
